What they are
A saved reply is a named snippet of plain text. Nothing more: no merge tags, no personalisation, no AI pass. It goes in exactly as you wrote it, which is the point — you already know what you want to say.
Two places use them:
- The first comment field in the composer — for the “link in the comments” line you add to every post.
- The reply box in the social inbox — for the answer you give the same question every week.
Create one
- Open Settings → Saved commentsThe library for the whole account lives here.
- Give it a nameUp to 80 characters, and unique. The name is what you'll see in the picker, so “Link in comments” beats “Snippet 3”.
- Write the bodyUp to 3,000 characters. Plain text.
- SaveIt appears in the picker straight away, for everybody on the account.
Use one
Click the saved-replies button next to the field you're writing in and pick from the list. Each entry shows a one-line preview so you can tell two similar ones apart. The text is inserted at your cursor, so you can type a name first, drop the snippet in after it, and keep editing.
Ordering the list
New entries go to the bottom. Use the up and down controls on the settings page to put your most-used ones at the top — the picker follows that order.
Shared with your team
The library belongs to the account, not to you, so everyone writes from the same set. If you run several workspaces, saved replies are shared across all of them — worth naming client-specific ones clearly.
Who can manage them
| Seat | Saved replies |
|---|---|
| Admin | Use and manage |
| Member | Use and manage |
| Ghostwriter | Use and manage |
| Read-only | No access |
| Client | No access |
Anyone who can write a comment can use and manage the library; seats that can't write anything get neither. Using them in the social inbox additionally needs the inbox itself, which is on the Business and Agency plans.
