Every platform counts
characters differently

Go over a platform's limit and your post can be truncated, rejected, or quietly cut off mid-sentence. This counter checks your text against the current limit on X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and more, all at once. It counts the way each platform counts: X treats every link as 23 characters and most emoji as two, while the rest measure Unicode length. It also shows LinkedIn's “see more” cutoff near 1,300 characters, the point where most readers decide whether to keep going. Paste once, see where you stand everywhere, then fix the platforms you are over before you publish.

Three steps, zero guesswork

1

Paste your text

Drop your post, caption, or thread into the box. Counting happens instantly in your browser, so nothing is ever sent anywhere.

2

See every platform at once

Each card shows your current count, the platform's limit, and how many characters you have left or how far over you are.

3

Fix what is over

Trim the platforms shown in orange, watch the counts update live, then copy your text and publish with confidence.
